FAQ: Official wheel "SPACER" thread!
Hey Guys,
Okay so what you're saying is the inner diameter is 66.1 and the outer diameter is usually 73. So the inner is always the same, it's the outter that I need to determine. The rings are for XXR 522's and no one seems to know what they would be. I know you said to measure them. But I dont think I could get exact in terms of 1/10's. I'll give it a try regardless. I appreciate the feedback guys. I'll definitely go with the aluminum ones if that's what you suggest because this whole ring concept is fairly new to me. I've never had to purchase these things before. I'm just sick of the vibration.

I found XXR 522 specs...style doesn't matter anyway. All XXRs will have same hub bore. It's 73.1. Found XXR 522s on e bay and they gave the bore size.
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 Rim Width: 8
Hub Bore: 73.1 Offset: +35
Rim Brand: XXR Number of Bolts: 5
Rim Diameter (inches): 18

So I was installing a new set of 25 and 30mm spacers that I purchased on my car the other day, and everything went perfectly smooth. I did the right side of my car first, the wheels looked better than expected (figured the sizes may be too big, etc). Looked great. Did the front left, still fit perfect, everythings good...and then I go to the rear, driver's side wheel. Spacer doesn't fit.
I'm not sure what the piece is called, but it's the center circular thing that the spacer fits over. It fits the studs fine. I took the spacers off, and made sure the error wasn't in the spacer sizes, it wasn't. All spacers fit the other rear wheel fine, just not the driver's side.
My dad had a theory that maybe the previous owner grabbed a replacement from somewhere that wasn't the correct part or something. Not sure!
If anyone can shed some light on my situation it would be appreciated.

What brand.. bolt-on or stud replacement?
So the drivers side is different, even with different spacers? Aka the one that fits the passenger side doesn't fit the drivers, but all of them fit the passenger?

Is it like a plastic ring? When i did this to my G their were these hubcentric rings to keep the other rim pretty tight on there and when i switched to other rims i freaked out a little case they didnt fit all the way in. Then i took it to my buddy's shop and he told me they were hubcentric rings and then just got a flathead screwdriver and popped it right off.
These are bolt on. And yes, you are correct. All spacers will fit the passenger side rear, none of them will fit the driver's side rear.

hubcentric rings also can be alumnium too. take a picture please. one of your other hubs and one of the hub in question. (id look at my own Z, but my dad is using it now and he lives about 4 hours away)

From what I understand 20mm bolt-on type spacers will leave the stock studs poking out a new millimeters. This means that I will need to use wheels with the "Gaps" offset from the bolt holes.
Do the 350Z OEm 06+ 5 spoke 18" wheels have these gaps? I've tried searching through this thread, but couldn't find any pictures or anyone coming out and saying that they do or not.
