I wouldn't compete this year. But next year would be ideal. No point in install all those parts and then turn around to sell them a year later.

I am not sure. We need to find out who will be the main director or point of contact for the series and ask them. I would think we should be able to because they have the track models from 03-06 I think that all come with Brembos and it wouldn't be fair that they can run them and we can't even though we have to adhere to the same power/weight. Since you live close to me, we would be competitors. That's good to know that there would be at least two of us as of now. We need to get more. I've never seen a Z compete W2W in our region.

If you compare the Ford Contingency program with Nissan's...you can see that Ford pays out more money, but needs MANY MORE cars to earn ANY payout! Nissan's strategy is a good way to encourage folks to join a start-up program by having only 2 cars required to win real $$$$$$

Ford Racing
2011 NASA Regional Racing Contingency Program
Program Name: 2011 Ford Racing NASA Regional Road Racing Contingency Program
Payout Schedule 1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place 4th Place 5th Place
5 or more starters $1000 $750 $500 $250 $150
Regional Champion
Bonus $200 $200 $200 $200

Nissan Motorsports
2012 NASA Regional Racing Contingency Program
Program Name: 2012 Nissan Motorsports NASA Regional Road Racing Contingency Program
Payout Schedule 1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place
3 or more starters $500 Cash $250 Cash $100 Cash
2 starters $250 Cash $125 Cash

I didn't know Ford's was that good.

I think Nissan is doing a good job drawing a crowd here.

I need to change a lot of stuff though. I am still on the fence.

I have a hunch that the new SE director is someone on this forum.

Does it seem like NASA is way more popular out here in the Midwest to southeast regions compared to the western half of the country?

I have an email in to get prices on all the spec parts. I thought we could choose between the spring and shock combo or the coilovers?
