Well just got my momentum performance transmission mount in the mail today just in time before i take the z out to the drag 1/4 mile runs come the 10th of march. I will still be on street tires and no launch control setup yet. so my 60 ft will probably not change lol.. just want to see what my trap speed will be and time of course. So much wheel hop off the dig.

So is it the sts kit that restricts the z from making more power or is it the fact it's remote mount. I just got my z running on Saturday with a built motor and a custom remote mount that I fabbed up w some parts from a sts truck kit. I haven't finished my fuel system yet so I haven't driven it. Am I gonna be sorry I did this setup?

Well i have a stage 1 engine from ipp, for brain a haltech platinum and sts turbo kit for my z and love it i don't think it is restrictive i mean i could probably go alot more higher but want reliability. When i build the top end of my engine then i might turn up the boost.

I just dont want to pour 5grand into building a bottom end, for 400hp. leaning towards twins, atm. Do you think theres more potential in your setup? STS sounds like, so awesome.
the turbo goes where the muffler used to be. there is enough room to put in as big a turbo as u want to. but be aware of lag. anything bigger than a gt35r would be best for drag rather than street imho.

you can take the filter shield off along with that intake tube with the rediculous 90 degree bend, attach the air filter and filter shield directly to the turbo. you just need to drill another drain hole in the sheild. this will also raise the hieght of the filter a little.

I was thinking of that but I was hesitant because the filter is going to be now to close to the exhaust pipe. I just tied the shield to the frame so now it doesnt rattle

just go to autozone or whoever and get a smaller filter, many filter options are available. thats what i did. also the new position makes checking and changing or cleaning a snap!

the exhaust pipe just after the wastegate still run through the cold side of the turbo to get to the hotside. Anyway, I have no problem with mine right now but I may consider

350z with sts kit, I went to the dyno yesterday. The car maybe has 500 whp+ because the 20" wheels has a lost more or less 10 to 15 whp.

The motor is stock displacement, stock cams, headers, uprev maf sensor, 15 psi, the turbo that came with the kit is a 60-1 with a .68 P but I bore the cool housing and putted a 62mm precision wheel. The car has a rev limit of 7,300 rpm.

Nice... all the pipes are the standard STS kit? also can you post the dyno sheet so we can look at the power curve? how's the lag on 1st and 2nd gear?

2" piping, I forgot to take the print out of the run, I have to pick it up. First I was having lag problem because of the muffler gaskets, now it makes 6 psi at 1st and then full boost.
For me, is a normal lag. I have full boost from 4000 rpm until 7300 rpm, that is a big power band, that's what matter.
