Thanks, I'll post pics when I get em.

The guy at the rim place said I could cut some of my rim HAHA!! and charge me 300+ for him to do it. Id rather just get spacers and take care of the issue, I was planning on buying spacers regardless

I run +25mm spacers on all four corners, i feel like i am getting some bad camber wear on my front tires... do i need a camber kit to correct, or should this not be a problem because i have no drop or suspension. I might just remove the spacers and see if there is any problem. only other thought is that there is a wheel alignment problem.

camber doesn't cause wear, however, when the tire wares, camber causes uneven wear from side to side (more ware on the inside than outside if you have negative camber). if the tire over all is waring unusually fast, check the toe. if it's just uneven wear from camber, just switch the tires from side to side when the tread gets low on the inside.

If you install spacers, you need to get an alignment......

odds are your off a bit.......at stock height with no mods you should be able to get back into spec no problem...

depending on the year of your car (earlier years were affected) you may have a front tire feathering issue........ie, bad alignment from the factory...

In my honest opinion...every Z owner should have front upper control arms.......

Not havening front camber adjust ability is horrible........even a stock height, no mod Z owner can adjust camber and toe in rear but up front hes stuck with no camber adjust ability.........

For inexpensive front uppers, look at least at Kinetics front upper arms:

what's the real diff between cutting the fender and rolling the fender?
To me, cutting them would be easier and cheaper because it costs some money to roll the fender..

either is fine....both hold up well on the Z as that fender is pretty stout there..

just gotta be quick about cutting as you usually use abrasive disc to cut and you dont want to stay in one spot for too long as your introducing heat to the fender and you dont want paint to get messed up..

ya, to cut after the 90 degree bend your not gonna get any sheet metal scissors in there.....plus sizzors would crink/bend at ever hand clamp...and pneumatic ones wont fit..

now if you cut along the outside maybe, but thats ugly..

those pics linked are sanding disc....the way ive seen fenders cut is with a cut off wheel air tools...

what happens if you don't use hub rings? The rims i'm loooking at has around 80mm hub bore size but our Zs have 66.1mm size.
i know someone who has these rims but have no problems YET without hub rings..

well, you dont "need" hub centric rings......you can still use the wheels no problem...the thing you have to be sure of is that you center the wheel!

do so buy hand tightening each lug nut, holding the weight of the wheel in order to do so...

if you mount the wheel and tighten only one lug nut really tight and your dont have another lug nut in centered on the taper it will not be centered....remember at the base of the wheel there is a taper and the lug nut is tapered......hand tightening at least 3 lug nuts will ensure that all 3 fall in the taper of the wheel and the wheel is centered...from there torque them all down..

you will be golden.......i mount my wheels with out hubcentric rings 100 percent of the time! after many autoX and drift event tire changes i have never had and issue....i just take the time to ensure the wheel is mounted centered! done and done..
