noob question that probably has been answered but i am too lazy to go through this whole thread. So i have a 08 z with stock wheels, and i plan on keeping them for a while, and invest in so spacers. what company and size would someone recommend to have my wheels be completely flush with my fenders?

yes.....I have tracked/drifted the crap out of my car with spacers...they are perfectly fine so long as you take your time and mount your wheels correctly.

Hey guys, I've scrolled through a good chunk of these pages...but does anyone have pics of a V1 track edition with spacers on the stockers? I'm thinking of going with 25mm up front and 30mm in the rear. I'm on stock suspension, but is there a mild (probably very mild) lowering spring that would allow me to use those spacers without fender rolling? I honestly am not looking to get super low, I just want to close a little fender well gap, not necessarily all of it. Any pics? Thanks

Whoa, they came in chrome? Maybe they were chromed after the fact, but yes those! Sorry I must have missed those pics if it was in this thread. Any idea on that car's suspension? I definitely like the 25s up front and 30s in the rear...looks to be lowered a bit too though?

J,

Did you get a chance to read my PM by any chance, or is it easier to post it in here.

edit - this is your pm...

My setup 245/30 19x9.5 (+24)// 275/35 19x10 (+18)

I'm wanting to run spacers, but I have an issue with what spacers I can run. Using your thread I've realized my work wheels don't have "gaps". Meaning I need to run at least a 25mm spacer front and back to clear the 25.4 stud in length. (I don't want to replace the studs, since I put my stock wheels on during the winter season)

19x9.5 (-1) 19x10 (-7)

I know I will have to roll my rear fenders. What about the fronts (with keeping this tire setup)??? Also, I will be stretching *my tire sizes a bit on the next set of tires. (if I need to roll my fronts, I may stretch the fronts in hopes of leaving the front fender alone)

Also, you stated work wheels bore is 88 and the stock hub bore is 66.1. If I were to get spacers with hubcentric rings already, are these all that I need? Or do I need to purchase hubcentric rings to put on my hubcentric spacers? 88 to fit a 66.1 spacer. If that makes any sense...

What brand of spacers do you recommend, do certain ones have more pros then others? I haven't heard much good from project kics. I was looking into ichiba since they come with hubcentric rings.*

Any vendor or site you recommend for good pricing and reliable?*I would appreciate any information on my quest to achieve my inspired fitment.*

Thank you,

JP

yes, if you want spacers with studs attached u need minimum 25mm spacers, however your offsets are decently aggressive as is? have you mounted the wheels onto the car? how much more do you want to come out?? drive over a 2x4 board and measure?? im pretty sure with those offsets you may already be decently flush!?!?

have you mounted these wheels yet?

also, u can replace the studs with longer ones and use "slip on style" spacers but your studs will just be long with stock wheels...but thats okay, just use open ended lug nuts?!?

its impossible to guess......your gonna have to mount them and see how it turns out and go from there............the stock z fender is already rolled - or should i says "semi-rolled" upwards, of course anyone with a fender roller can make it more aggressive OR stretch it as well if they like..

yes exactly, you may need to buy 88 to 66 rings....i posted links in this thread when i mentioned doing that for vendors that sell them..

I dont have a preference, i do like some more than others but for the most part ive been happy with my project kics because the rings are "separate" so i use them as i need them since i have many different wheels for racing..

I own 16 wheels for my car currently for track events!

same thing, i posted a list of vendors that sell spacers......my biggest recommendation is to CALL and verify that they have the spacers in stock in hand............versus drop shipping and then later finding out its gonna take months to get them.......

even when a vendor or online car accessory shop says they have it "in stock" be verry very very blunt and ensure its in stock "IN HAND" ready to ship, not "drop shipped"

if not, you could be waiting!
