SO Is there a fix for the TPMS not being read on the back tires Or the front one???

I searched on goggle and here, and haven't found anything( pardon)

Thanks!

Could be a lot of things, but its not spacer related.

Default Measurements - Left & Right Difference

I am measuring for spacers and from outside fender edge to wheel lip is 4mm more on the driver side (both front and rear). That is, the driver side wheels are more "sunk in".

Measurements (mm):
RF= 19; LF=23
RR=27; LR=31

This is common on non-independent rear suspensions after lowering (fixed with adjustable panhard bar), but this car is not lowered.

Rough camber measurements are pretty consistent left to right, but I suppose just a little bit of difference could result in 4mm.

I know it's minor and nothing to worry about; just wondering if common to the Z's?

My rear camber was "within spec" and still resulted in about 6mm difference in gap. It could also be the surface your car is resting on is not level. Gas stations tend to be nice and flat at the pump. Bring a level with you to confirm it isnt sloped, then measure.

Garages also work well as a level surface if you have one.

"Within spec" is within a range of camber angles, so both wheels could be different yet both pass as within-spec on the alignment sheet. For what it's worth, the shop that aligned my Z and dialed in my ride height (on adjustable coilovers) left my driver side height a bit higher than passenger side as the car sits, without anyone in it. But camber angle vs. height was the same on both sides, so theoretically if they did it right my ride height and camber are identical side-to-side. Whether it actually worked out that way, I dunno. Hard to measure while I am sitting in the car.

+1

Camber could still be off by a tiny bit between both sides.

Haha, yes the car was on a level concrete pad for measurements. And I measured again this time to the wheel center cap and get same delta from left to right (i.e. camber out of the equation). Of course I wouldn't actually do this, but wider spacers on the driver side would be a way to even things out.

I wonder if anyone else on stock suspension can chime in if their driver side wheels more "sunk in"?

P.S. on a different subject (mentioned in post above), I have also experienced ride height variation from left to right (tilt) on seveal cars anywhere from 1/4" to 1/2" which is annoying!

Thanks.

I've heard of some people saying this for other cars as well. I've never noticed it, personally, but I'm sure there are plenty of cars out there that are slightly different from side to side.

Just ordered H&R DRM 20 & 25 for front & rear respectively. I have used H&R on my Maxima for a couple of years with no issues - quality product with no thread stripping or vibration issues. Not sure about weight but they seem very light.

Question what size spacers?

so i have 18.9.5+22 on all four corners of my Z with 255/40 F and 275/40 R lowered an inch or so on tanabe gf210 ... been wanting the wheels to sit more flush but wasnt sure what size spacers to go with without having to worry about rolling or pulling my fenders. if it matters im running about -2 camber in the back.

was thinking ichiba v2 15mm front and 20mm back? what do you think?

you will have to roll your fenders if you put any spacers in the rear. i would do 10mm front and 15mm rear.

also, did you do the rear spring mount mod?

no i didnt cut the rear spring mounts. that pic is the first day the springs were on, its been almost a month now and its much lower. but it would be necessary to roll my fenders with 10mm F and 15mm R ?

oh just re-read it and saw that it's 9.5 on all four corners. i thought you had a 9.5/10.5 setup. you could probably get a 20mm spacer in there. but if it's much lower than this picture, i would advise you to get your fenders rolled just to be safe. its not a big deal, so why not?

You will hear a donk when you go through dips with the 15 or 20 mm spacers in the rear. I had 18x9.5 +0 -2 deg on 255/40 and it would rub/bump the rear fender w/o roll, w/ roll and current wheels 10.5 +5 285/35 no issues.

yeah 9.5 all around. well the wheel gap in the back is about one finger width and the front is barely one finger width. as when i first installed em the back was about 1.5 finger width.
