Default PLEASE tell me reasons why a Z is better than a WRX, im deciding between both to buy!

Looking at buying a 07 or 08 350z.... low miles, base or enthusiest... which will run me around 18-19k....

I found a super good deal on a 2007 subaru impreza WRX
28,000 miles Completely stock for $16k

Im having a tough time deciding between the two.. the WRX is way under blue book, and a great deal.. but DAMN! I really want a 350z... im really 50/50 here and would appreciate some input

Thanks

lol you're in for some pretty bias comments! They are both really good choices. The price for the Subaru seems really good, where is it being sold from? Dealer? Private seller? Hopefully not a skid lot, lol.

Alright, look-wise I would say Z hands down. You will get alot more compliments on the Z, especially from people who don't know everything about cars. WRX isn't as eye appealing as the Z.

Also it not being a WRX sti would make the decision for me quite easy.

I've driven a buddies WRX sti before I ever owned my Z. I have to say it was fun but the Z def. won my heart. I suggest you test drive both and see what you feel better in.

Goodluck with your choice. Hopefully you make the right one or don't come back here

EDIT: I bought my 07 Enthusiast for 16.8k last year. You can do way better than 18-19 for an 07 Enthusiast or base.

Is it a WRX or STI?

I liked my Z over the STI because of the driver's seat and how the car felt overall. It's really personal preference: go drive both and decide for yourself imo.

depends on your lifestyle. is it going to be your DD? do you have a family or children? where do you live?
subie is good all year if your live in changing climates, Z is way more sexy. Subie is boosted and can easily attain more power with bolt ons compared to a Z. Will you need to haul or move things around? The Z is good for one thing (maybe a few) and that is to enjoy the driving experience. The subie can do that too, but with added room and seats. however the driving experience in either of the cars is different. what do you want. ?

Im going to buy from a private seller no matter what...
And im talking about a regular WRX, not a STI
Im 21 years old, no family or kids! Really the only use for a 4 door 4 seater would be to fit girls or a surfboard in the back. Im leaning towards a Z... Its just tempting this deal I found on a WRX...
Blood Red damn im jealous you got a killer deal on your Z!!

Any other opinions? or reasons why a Z is better...?
Besides being sexier, they are faster in every way too right?

Z = sex appeal, something the WRX does not have, even though it's still a cool car.

The Z stock vs stock WRX yes the Z would win. I'm the same age as you btw. 2door sports car just outright gets the vagina, bro.

Even though I'm 28 and married now, the Z . . . gets bit**es. It makes their head turn and with a few minor bolt ons you can have them in the passenger seat, floor it and I bet you they'll get wet. I apologize if this offends ne1 but I really am turning into a DOM (dirty old man).

I was also in the same boat. It was between a WRX STI or a Nismo 350Z. Got the the 350Z instead because as many people say on here. It looks better, performs better, and you will always have a smirk on your face when you look at it. Also, I think I got a better bang for my buck. Go for the Z!

My brother just sold his "Econobox" STI. They are incredibly fast and great handling cars, BUT i like my Z. The torque and easy power gains through bolt-ons is awesome, but the Z just gets my juices flowing more.

We don't need another one of these threads. All you needed to do was to search this forum for "WRX" and you would have found dozens asking the same question and getting the same answers.
