Default TT on automatic?

My simple is pretty basic, and I am sure there is another thread or a better place to post this, but I am a noob so just bare with me, my basic question is, is it possible to put a turbo charger or super charger on an automatic? and also how much real speed (0-60 time) am i losing by going with an AT instead of a MT ? Thanks for your help guys....

18-22% loss in power b/c of the AT and the same thread was started either last week or two weeks ago so do a search you can read all about it

Yes there is some power loss when you compare dyno#'s between AT and MT's. However have a 5AT tranny rebuilt or just do VB and TC upgrade, and that will improve your times at the track. VB will make it shift smoother/quicker and TC upgrade will improve launching.

how much do valve bodies and torque converters run? any places you guys suggest to buy a SC or TT from as well as get it installed (socal area please)

VB: Valve Body, the brains (together with the ECU) and muscle that make your car shift.

TC: Torque Convertor: The thing that allows your engine to turn while your wheels are not. This is what transfers the power from the engine to the wheels. It's kind of a turbine turning another turbine with some added goodies. Look it up on Google. Pay close attention to "Stall Speed" and "Torque Multiplication factor" as those are the ones that get changed in the upgrade (apart from making the TC stronger, less esier to break)
