Thank You Sharif. You may be hearing from me. I only wish two things: your shop was closer; I had just dropped off my car and a pile of money at Forged in the first place
If you want to do some charity work and help turn around the longest streak of fail in the F/I forum in exchange for some HUGE Forged logos on my car and some serious forum nuthugging let me know

Regardless... Glad to see the BUMP with some progress. Hope you get back on the road soon without further problems.

Glad to see progress!

The engine, trans, turbo kit and everything else is back on the car and the car is on the ground for the first time since last June
I have learned a ton of things during this process. The core support, AC condenser and radiator look easy to put back in, but were a complete PITA. I must have put it on and taken it off 5-6 times till I got everything on where it belonged and assembled in the proper order. The steering knuckle was another learning curve as well.
I can now say I installed a cat-back exhaust, sway bars and everything else. I feel proud, but will feel even better if the car starts and runs next week. I let the fuel system prime and so far no leaks.
The car seemed to fight me most of the way (probably because I didn't really know what I was doing), but in the end I was victorious. However, when putting the front under brace back on a socket slipped and hit me in the face. I have a nice cut on the bridge of my nose and may get a black eye or two as well. I could almost here the car giggle a bit when it happened
I just have to see if I can chase down a stray connector for the fuel evap switch that was missed when the wiring harness was hooked up. This would be easier if I hadn't done that custom tuck a while back, but its whatever. Off to remove the plenum and such for a second time, same old story

why'd you even separate the 3? Just remove it as 1 unit.
2 radiator hoses a few plugs and its off.

Awesome Chris, glad to hear that you are getting back in action soon. On the wire harness did you figure out what caused the melt? Was it to close to something hot, or a short? What is the first plug that is melted? The second is the condenser for the coil packs.

I found the last connection after removing the upper plenum, it was routed under the intake and looked like part of the PF cooling mod. All done now

I went to put on the oil filter and its the wrong one... classic. Oh, my wife came home, saw my face and asked what happened. I told her and she doubled over with laughter... love that girl

hopefully this is your last time
