I think NA subforum would be a great idea.

If the response leans toward YES then we will get a subforum! Support the NA guys and vote YES!

Thanks,
Nick
Completely retarded idea. The forums already exist for stock (naturally not normally aspirated) Z's. It is called Engine and Drive train and has sub forums called (VQ35 HR/Tuning/Intake - Exhaust) and then there is the general 350Z forum. Seems completely redundant to make another forum for that.

I think you need to search more and you will see everything you are asking for is already here. The reason for a Forced Induction forum is because is it a specific type of build that is not stock and involves customization in some cases. N/A builds are simply replacing stock parts and internals with after market upgrades (I know there is more just dumbed it down). Manufacturers and parts are already discussed in the above mentioned forums I pointed out.

My 2 cents

That's exactly what I was saying, all that info is here already. N/A build is boring and honing blocks, replacing pistons and rings, throttle bodies, blah blah blah. It is already here. Parts, reviews, numbers, you name it.

It is by no means centralised, it is spread across the forum and very sparatic. I am sensing a lot of bias coming from you , like you just dont think NA is a big deal for some reason.

No, that's not it all. I am completely N/A and plan to stay that way. Like I stated it just seems redundant. I have had no problem finding information I need for building up my stock already N/A engine. Good luck with your request for the N/A forum. Don't mean to sound like a hater, it just seems pointless to me.

I think this is a good idea. Has anyone actually took notice to these forums? Sure mods try to keep repeat post down but so many people have just bs to say that search on this site is useless.

So how do find stuff a little better? Break the site down into sub catigories of intrest. I see a turbo & nitrous forum, might as well have N/A Build forum. As has been said you cant use general engine forum becuase its all about exaust sound questions or is A/T or M/T better ?!?!?!

I say give the N/A guys a place where they can put there stickied "how to's" and faqs about building up performance all motor build without have to look in more generic forums scanning over the "i wrecked my z" & "what color intake should i buy" post.

Edit: FWIW I just voted FOR an NA forum.

I voted yes but rather than an NA forum I'd suggest it be an "All Motor" forum. There is a stark contrast between the two. Everybodies NA but not many can boldly consider themselves to be All Motor cars or builds. Example of well controlled and executed All Motor forum can be found on Maxima.org. http://forums.maxima.org/forumdisplay.php?f=39

What? You're already in the NA forum. The FI and NOX are already separated out into other forums.

Then the mods should do a "spring cleaning" and organizing. Not everyone wants to go FI or Spray some of hum to a different note

has anyone asked the mods about this. . .? z-1's 350z's would be a good start to sub-section and then everyone else can chip in. . .

Just to clarify..

I think this sub forum should be for cars with parts installed like these

1. Cams
2. pistons
3. Rods
4. Ported Heads
5. Bigger Valves

Basically NA Engine Builds.

This way the exhaust, intake, and spacer threads can stay in the forum already created.

There are not alot of these threads out there, but right off the top of my head I can think of atleast 4. Would be nice to have them all in one place insted of searching around forever for them.

Just my thoughts
Todd

I think the idea is retarded. Ever been to the engine & drivetrain area of this forum? Its all about moddifying your NA engine. The only reason why there is a forced induction section is because there are far less FI z's then NA.
Whats next? A VQ35 forum?
